Composite Siding FAQS

How long can I expect my composite siding to last?

Composite siding is built to last about 30 years, but may last even longer with proper care and maintenance. It’s also covered by a comprehensive limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty, including fade protection, which transfers to new owners should you sell your home.

What makes composite siding so durable?

Composite siding is notably tough. It holds up when traditional wood siding simply can’t, such as in persistently wet or otherwise harsh environments. It’s nearly impervious to water with an extremely low water absorption rate, is insect-resistant and never bows, warps or splits.

Does composite siding require maintenance?

Since composite siding is highly resistant to fading or discoloration, you won’t need to do paint touchups or caulking. Rather, a simple rinse with soap and water will do the trick should your siding get dirty. As long as you wash your siding at least once or twice a year, it should hold up well over the years.
